Prince Fielder hits three home runs at Miller Park last night, and Amy Gill takes the Pool lead with six points.  Wild cards in both leagues are tied (BOS/TB, ATL/STL), so things might not end tonight...

  1. OK, so for me to win, I need two HR from Albert Pujols (and none from Fielder), 5 2/3 IP from Chris Carpenter, and for Coco Crisp to steal one more base than Brett Gardner.

    Right?

It could happen, but it's a longshot.

  2. Sid needs two of these three things to happen:
    -Gardner loses AL SB outright.
    -Fielder loses NL HR outright.
    -Halladay maintains NL IP.

...in which case he'll beat out Amy by tiebreaker.

  3. I could be wrong, but I think Jason's best bet is for Cabrera to lose the AL batting title, Gardner to lose the AL SB lead and all else to remain as is.

  4. Yanks blow 7-0 lead in the 8th, Sox in rain delay, Braves blow theirs in the 9th, Cabrera's in, Halladay's out, Fielder's good (for now!), AL steals still up for grabs...
